Thanks to Daniel Craig we are eating all carbs before 2pm daily and eating lots of green vegies....In actual fact I could think of far more interesting things I'd like to associate with Daniel Craig... however onto the topic at hand. This is hubby's new and latest thing. He has been getting fit far longer than I and doing quite a good job of it. He recently announced that he wanted to go on the Daniel Craig diet....(see boys go through it too ladies) to lose a little more around his middle.
Anyway, cut a long story short I thought 'why not'?' I am not actually a fan of diets as I think if you want to effect change it should be sustainable. Anyway, the reason I agreed was because I felt it was time to get back to basics with food. Meat and 3 vege, fruit, nuts and generally eating less processed food and more whole foods. Not really a diet in my book. And with this one you actually get one "free" day per week.
I have to admit that I am really enjoying eating a far more simple way. I had recently had a conversation with my Mum about giving the kids less processed food so it is fitting in well all round.
On another note I am off to TopRide (Cycle Class) in the morning and rather than feeling dread.....I am actually looking forward to it.
Now I am off to have my "free night" small bowl of Red Rock Deli Salt chips and glass of champers!!
