As the Founder and Director of Oradess, Julia is a passionate ambassador for the expression of personal beauty through make-up. With an enormous depth of passion for the Oradess brand, Julia is devoted to empowering self confidence and working with women, from all walks of life, to help them radiate their natural beauty.
Julia has been a freelance make-up artist since 1992 and more recently, managed her own beauty salon for a number of years until deciding in 2007 to create Oradess. Her inspiration for founding Oradess came from a genuine desire to help women express their authentic beauty and maximize the beauty of their feminine spirit through the clever use of colour and make-up.
Julia believes that too often women get hindered by the ‘rules' which stifles their spirit of exploration. Demystifying the world of make-up and avoiding rules, Julia guides clients through a process of self discovery which encourages women to use their own judgment and unveil their own individual style. Through connecting closely with clients to understand their individual story, and through thoughtful insight and inspiration, Julia has helped many women embrace their authentic beauty and develop a greater confidence and appreciation of themselves.
Understanding that every woman's spirit is unique, Julia takes the time to understand each client's individual motivation and offers a nurturing and relaxed environment to impart her experience. Empowering women with the confidence to trust themselves and unleash their spirit of creativity is a process Julia considers both a privilege and deeply rewarding. With new learning comes new found confidence and Julia has witnessed many women transformed through a greater acceptance of themselves and simply taking the time to value and feel good about themselves.
A natural presenter and a gifted make-up professional, Julia offers the benefit of considerable industry experience and a genuine passion for educating and teaching, whether it's a one-on-one consultation or a tailored group presentation.
